Designer Panel Steel Cladding

Apex Designer Panel is a stylish and versatile cladding system. The 250mm wide cover provides quick easy installation and combined with the simplicity of being screw fixed, this cladding saves on labour costs.

The concealed fastening system gives an aesthetically pleasing look. The panels simply interlock to give a smooth appearance and long clean lines.

Designer Panel is suitable for a wide range of applications such as fascias, wall cladding, ceilings and soffit linings. This means this profile can be used for both interior and exterior design applications. Designer Panel is equally attractive whether used vertically or horizontally. A full range of trims and accessories are available made to order.

Custom cut lengths to your requirements ensure wastage is kept to a minimum. Designer Panel is available in an attractive range of colours.

RECOMMENDED FIXING METHOD
Fasteners complying with AS 3566 Class 3 may be used.
When fastening into Steel Purlins, use 10 Gauge x 16mm Wafer Head Screws, approx 4 per m2 .
For timber battens, use 12 Gauge x 25mm Wafer Head Screws, approx 4 per m2.

MATERIALS
Both ZINCALUME® and COLORBOND® has G550 base material (550Mpa minimum yield stress) with AZ150 coating, in accordance with AS1397. Please contact Apex sales staff for our extensive range of colours and thicknesses.

LENGTHS / TRANSPORT
Apex Building Products can custom cut lengths to your requirements. Due to transport restrictions it is advisable to check with our office the maximum length.

HANDLING
A corstrip film on the sheeting protects the Designer Panel, however care should be taken when handling.

DELIVERY
Apex Building Products delivers to site within 1 to 2 days. To prevent any damage we require suitable arrangement to be made for unloading. Unloading by crane, ensure the load is evenly spread, if crane unavailable adequate manpower is required.

ADVERSE CONDITIONS
If material is to be used within 1km of salt marine, industrial or corrosive environments please contact our Apex sales staff.

WARRANTIES
Our products are supported by Bluescope Steel Limited and a full warranty is available.

HANDLING
Care should be taken at all times when handling A-Panel. Packs must be kept dry and stored above ground level, should the sheets become wet separate immediately and individually wipe and place in an area to dry.

COMPATIBILITY
ZINCALUME® steel sheeting is compatible with most roofing products. It is NOT recommended to use lead flashing /
nails, copper or copper alloy materials with or in run-off situations.

CUTTING
Apex Building Products provides this service, however sheets may be cut using a power saw with a metal cutting blade. COLORBOND® steel sheeting must be cut with the coloured surface facing the ground. Ensure that no hot particles or debris come into contact with the COLORBOND® .

CLEAN UP
To prevent premature corrosion at the completion of each day ensure the sheeting area is cleared of all debris, including nails, rivets, rags and all cutting or drilling filings.
